When are rental payments due?
Rent is due on the first of every month, payable in full.
Can I send my parking rent and apartment rent in one
check?
Yes!
I have just rented!! When will I receive my lease package?
Upon processing all paperwork, you will receive an original
copy of all documents in the mail, within 30 days.
I moved out!! When will I receive my security deposit?
You will receive your security deposit within thirty (30) days
after the termination of the lease. Please make sure you provide
your forwarding address to Teel Realty.
What happens if I need to break my lease early?
1. You will remain financially responsible
for your apartment through the remainder of your lease term
or until the apartment has been re-rented, whichever comes first.
Therefore it is clearly in your best interests to provide us
with written notice of your intent to break your lease and provide
us with contact numbers so that this office can attempt to relet
the premises.
2. You will be financially responsible
for any and all cost incurred with the re-renting of your apartment
such as advertising, brokers fees, turnover expenses, etc.
3. You may not relet the premises on your
own, but certainly Teel Realty will consider any prospective
tenant you bring to our attention. Teel Realty must approve
any new rental arrangement.
4. Your cooperation will be required for
all showings. We will notify you in advance via telephone of
showings.
What is the change of roommates’ policy?
• For any and all changes, there will be an administrative
fee of $125.00 for each tenant change.
• The vacating tenant and all parties on the Lease
will have to send us a letter indicating your intentions to
vacate the apartment and if you intend to replace yourself,
signed by all parties.
• If you intend to replace yourself, we will send
you necessary paperwork (application forms) to be completed
by the prospective tenant, which will have to be returned to
our office for approval.
• Upon approval of the new applicant, we will prepare
a new lease for signatures from all parties. This lease will
be mailed to the apartment and must be returned no later than
one week upon receipt. If time is of the essence all parties
must sign the lease at the office.
• The new tenant will be expected to refund the vacating
tenant their proportionate share of all deposits held by Teel
Realty. The vacating tenant will then be required to write a
letter to Teel Realty indicating that they have been paid their
deposits and Teel Realty no longer owes them any monies regarding
the named apartment.
• We advise all existing tenants not to allow any
new tenant into the premises until all the above items are completed
and you have received clearance from our office.
There is a maintenance problem that needs attention!
Call our office during regular business hours, Monday-Friday,
9am-5pm.

and our 24-hour answering service will contact us immediately.
What happens if there is someone parked in my parking
space?
Call the office first to see if we can clear up the confusion
before anyone has to be towed. If the problem can’t be
solved this way then you have the right to call Roberts Tow
at 617-782-0800.
The washing machine/dryer ate my quarters and/or the
machines are malfunctioning?
It’s more effective to call the laundry companies
directly.
